Reflection for Safeguarding Sunday
When we feel lonely, or afraid we need a shelter and we all need our safe places.
We can take refuge in the presence of the Lord, knowing that nothing can separate us from God's love.
A refuge is a place of safety and protection and, like the psalmist, we certainly can trust God's faithfulness.
You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,
will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge
and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.
Psalm 91 vs4
