Helping our church to grow
Moira and 3 members of our congregation recently attended a weekend conference entitled
Leading Your Church Into Growth
The following embeds our planning for future growth in prayer. Please use it to support our plans
God of Mission
Who alone brings growth to your Church,
Send your Holy Spirit to give
Vision to our planning,
Wisdom to our actions,
And power to our witness.
Help our church to grow in numbers,
In spiritual commitment to you,
And in service to our local community,
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen

Needing Prayers?
Please remember there is a small group of individuals who undertake to pray regularly during the week for people and issues brought to their attention. If you wish to request prayer for yourself or someone known to you - (possibly those who are sick or troubled), please give their name to Dawn Powell. First name only is sufficient and it is not necessary to provide details of the problem. Names can be passed on in person on a note given to Dawn.
And finally-
A Sunday School teacher asked her class why Joseph and Mary took Jesus with them to Jerusalem.
A small child replied: "They couldn't get a baby sitter."
